What is styronit BIOcoating?

BIOcoating is styronitcovering application for interior building which targets the human health and healthy buildings, creating thermal comfort and bioclimatic environment.

This application is actualized with covering walls with styronit from inside which have ~1 cm thickness.

Why BIOcoating?
  • It provides living comfort in a healthy environment that creates better indoor air quality inside of building with breathing walls.
  • With the ability to provide high thermal comfort, without heating the walls and ceiling, by heating only indoor air, it allows you to receive the maximum performance from the insulation.
  • It provides acoustic comfort.
  • It avoids humidity, mold, paint swelling and fall.
  • All application is realized easily by traditional plastering methods with practical application simplicity.
styronit BIOcoating Application In Inhabited Buildings

Water is added to gel bag, diluted with shaking and added to 18 lt main plaster which is in mixing cape. Plaster with gel is mixed with styronit dry additive and 6-8 lt water until it becomes a slurry.

Deformed parts of plaster and/or painted surface on the wall are cleaned up.

Holes which have 10-15 mm diameter are made inside of exterior walls with 10-20 cm intervals  till the bricks.

Thin lining which has 2-3 mm thickness is applied on dry and cleaned up surface with known plastering methods. After waiting for desiccation for 1-2 days, the 2nd application which creates 6-10 mm thickness is applied.

The wall is left for desiccation. Desiccation time shortens with direct proportion of environmental heat.

Application is completed with using breathing or lime paints on the surface of dry wall.
