How styronit exterior siding is applied?
1. Application for Traditional Thickness of Liquid in New Buildings

Table 1 Application Thicknesses of styronit in buildings without plastered
- In buildings which have been plastered both in inner and outer surfaces, top thicknesses are applied with the thickness levels explained with thin styronit. (Table 2)
- Thicknesses have been defined by regarding minimum heat conductivity resistances for one piece isolation coating found in TSE 825 heat regulations before the year 2000.(Table2)
- Plaster + Exterior Thermal Sheathing application loads ~ 130 kg/m2 wall however in a building plated with styronit this value is just ~ 7 kg/m2 wall
2. Application (on paint) in Inhabited Buildings
BIO-thermal sheathing is applied inside of the building.
- Minimum Suggested Thicknesses;

Table. 2 Application Thicknesses of styronit for inhabited buildings according to Temperature zones
Application done from inside and in 1 cm thickness, in practical, provides heat performance till 1 cm thick felt wool. Styronit applied by given thicknesses- provides 10C temperature increse and and saves heat till 60%.
Exterior Application on Paint;

Figure.1 Painted Building Exterior Side Application
Plaster panels are sticked to the building surface horizantally with 50 cm space between each one. (Figure 1)
2-3 mm thin lining styronit is applied. After absorbance styronit rough filling is practised under described plaster panel thicknesses. It is concluded with 3-4 mm styronit thin and 2 mm styronit to the last layer.
- Before application, plaster panels must be sticked to the building surface. (On the building wall, horizantally with 50 cm space between each one.)
- 2-3 mm thin lining styronit is applied on the paint. After absorbance rough filling is practised under described plaster panel thicknesses and the whole application is concluded with 3-4 mm thin styronit. (Figure 1)
