Interior Air Quality and styronit

Regarding that people spend 90% of their time indoor and the polluters can’t be kept away from this environment, importance of indoor air’s quality appears. This situation produces concept of “comfort” needs to be evaluated regarding control of values like temperature and humidity and indoor air quality.

Indoor air problems sources from chemical polluting, dust particles and biological polluters (bacterium, fungus, virus). Humans come in first place in indoor source of dirtiness. Also carpets, furniture, materials used for cleaning, cigarette smoke, stove smoke, smell coming from oven and food, dust particles produced from devices which are used for different purposes are other indoor polluters affecting indoor air quality. Importance of this present situation will be seen more clearly when factors like oxygen deficiency sourced from deficient air conditioning indoor, carbon dioxide, humidity values not being under expected values and excess dust rising sourced from dirtiness are added to these problems.

Air circulation must be between interior and exterior environment to remove bad air from inside. Higher diffusion and breathing ability of styronit makes better the indoor air quality of buildings and creates natural, bioclimatic environment without requiring mechanical air conditioning.
